We are looking for story tellers, neighbourhood hosts and authentic characters.   Set in the food mecca that is Adelaide Markets this is a hotel for locals and visitors alike.  The first Hotel Indigo to be launched in Australia, Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets comprises 145 guest rooms, a lively restaurant and a soon to be iconic roof top bar with panoramic views of Adelaide, this hotel is going to set the trend for local dining and cosmic cocktails. Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets will open its doors to a wide array of  domestic & international boutique hotel guests and the hotel will employ colleagues aka "Neighbourhood hosts" across multiple disciplines.

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. Within Hotel Indigo, every colleague is a Neighbourhood host, equipped with the knowledge and skills to assist our guests to get the most out of their stay in Adelaide.

We are currently seeking one more talented Bar Mixologist to round out our team of creative geniuses. You’ll be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Your creativity and artistic flair will be evident in the classic and innovative drinks you create for our guests and regulars. Whether preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or recommending delicious culinary options, your vibrant and accommodating personality will engage guests and ensure they enjoy a memorable experience in either our rooftop bar or ground floor Restaurant and bar space venue.

It is anticipated these roles will begin in February 2021.

• Previous experience in a hotel, bar or restaurant environment is essential and strong bar skills and a passion for mixology will be the key to  your success in this role
• Guests will come to you with questions, concerns and compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to and demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Our Neighbourhood hosts will ideally bring a passion for the Adelaide region and be willing to immerse themselves to continually build their knowledge. You'll have a birds eye view of the local area from our rooftop bar so you'll be ready to share your knowledge and recommendations with our guests and patrons.
• Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
• These roles will work a rotating roster so it's important to know that weekends, public holidays and in some nights are all part of the job
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (SA/Nationally Accredited) will be required all roles working across Food & Beverage
• Candidates must hold current Australian working rights suitable to the position to be considered.
