The Crowne Plaza Brand has returned to Adelaide! This is an exciting time to join this newly built full service upscale hotel, opened 2nd November 2020. Comprising of 329 guest rooms with check-in on level 10, restaurant, bars, infinity pool and gymnasium. There is also a dedicated function centre with six versatile function rooms and kitchen. The owner will manage the building car park and ground floor retail spaces. The business mix will be varied with domestic & international leisure, Corporate & Government and MICE residential, day meetings and social events.At Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts our goal is to make business travel work. Your day to day
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. Join our hotel service team in Food & Beverage. You’ll create the warm atmosphere that brings our guests back to our hotel time and time again. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. At Crowne Plaza we’re all business, mostly. A typical week could see you looking after our conference guests as they power through that 9-5, while in the evenings you'll be serving up Japanese inspired, locally sourced dishes alongside sake flights and whiskey.At Luna10 you'll be pouring local brews and creating cocktails poolside, while drinking in that view of the Adelaide Hills. Obviously you'll know your way around a coffee machine as well.On any given day, you could be working autonomously in Room Service, taking ownership of the orders and the guest experience. While our successful candidates will be flexible to work in all facets of the Food & Beverage Department, we want to know if you have a passion for a particular area!
What we need from you
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a restaurant and bar environment and conferencing and events, ideally within a hotel. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will turn potential issues into opportunities. You must be flexible working on a 24/7 rotating roster – mornings, late shifts, weekend and public holiday shifts are all part of the job. You must have a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification for South Australia, and full Australian Working Rights
